New Zealand - My dilemma

Im going to New Zealand soon for working holiday. But i havent bought the ticket yet. Actually im in a dilemma right now whether i should depart on March or May. The reason i'm delaying my departure is because i want to attend MARA examination for postgraduate scholarship. However, the competition is very high, thousands of applicants will be competing hence its difficult to get the scholarship. Actually its a win-loss situation, if i end up failed the exams, i will have to depart to New Zealand on May and during that period of time, its pretty hard to get jobs. If i dont attend the exams, i would be able to depart earlier which is on March where there are plenty of seasonal jobs available. So? Making a decision is fucking tough isnt it?

Certain Universities have set their "A" grade to 85 marks, most IPTAs only required 80 or even 75 marks to obtain A. Hello everyone! Wow, its been a while. For the past few months i didnt have mood to write anything in my blog but suddenly tonight the mood came.

Ok lets move on.

Sakinah was the best thing ever happened in my life. I felt like the door was open for me to enter her life. Before meeting her i was heartbroken, i couldnt forget someone i love and i waited for her for 4 years. I was living in fantasy. But suddenly someone with the name Sakinah, she opened up my heart. I didnt know why and how but it just happened. I bet you guys know how it feels like when you fall in love for someone, all the feelings came back to me and they made me ALIVE! I stalked her Friendster everyday! So, now i have her Friendster and YM. But i forgot to add her at Myspace.

As her number 1 stalker i added her at Myspace but what i found was really shocking and it broke my heart,

"Sakinah Omar is in a relationship."

In that moment i felt like i was the loneliest person on earth. The first thing i did was to see who was the guy. I read all the comments between them. They were sweets. So sweets that you might get a diabetes. So what happened to me was, I completely lost hope. All my fantasies about being with her gone. And i decided, not to keep in touch with her.

Ok where did i stop? Hehe sorry for the long delay.

After Sakinah said "hi" to me for the first time in Friendster, i was wondering who she was and i hardly recalled when did i add her as my friend. I clicked on her profile and the first thing that attracted me was her paintings. I fell for her paintings straight away. I cant believe what i saw. I cant describe how adorable those paintings were. She was so small but what a big talent she had.

Since then, we started to reply comments almost everyday and this lasted for almost 2 weeks. From here i had the chance to get some information about her. She's living in Glasgow, her mother doing PhD in the UK, she has a big brother and a sister and she is an artist. I even said someday if i had a chance to visit Scotland, would she be my tour guide and she said Yes. But of course i was just asking i never even planned to visit Scotland.

Things were getting better between us, everyday i waited for her comments every time i opened my laptop the first thing i checked was my email, just to see if there is email "Sakinah Omar has sent you a comment". The truth was, every time i saw the email notification i couldn't help myself, my heart beating faster, i became nervous and can't wait to read them. Everyday, i looked at her Friendster profile, flipping through her photographs, and i realized, when i looked at those photos, i smiled.

I think a year ago i did mention about telling story about how i met Sakinah. But i didnt coz i was too busy. You might wanna say who cares about how i met her who the hell i am rite? Im not a celebrity or what. If you think so just stop reading okay coz im writing this to tell some of you guys that wanna read this, that long distance relationship is actually possible! For your info Sakinah is from Glasgow, Scotland but she is a Malaysian just like us. This is a very long story so i will write in part by part. Keep reading friends!

Lets begin the story. The relationship between me and Sakinah is all thanks to Naruto and Friendster! YES! The anime series from Japan, Naruto! and the social network Friendster!

Approximately 3 years ago Sakinah added me at Friendster. We didnt know each other. In that time i was so young and too friendly and OF COURSE when a girl sent me a friend request, i would approve! Who wouldnt? LOL But we didnt communicate to each other at all. No comment, no private message. No nothing. For your information i had almost 1500 friends in my list, more than 50% of them were strangers! therefore its normal not to talk to her coz she's a stranger as well.

Until after a year, one day Sakinah sent me a comment, she wrote " Hi Aries (my nickname was Aries back then) you have been in my friend list for ages but we never really been contacted each other. I adore the photo of your background profile. The drawing is fantastic".
The background photo that she mentioned was NARUTO! Millions of thanks to Naruto, she dropped by and said hello to me.

So that is how it all started. Friendster and Naruto.

Time flies..without realizing that i only have one more semester left before graduating. Suddenly i miss everything about Uniten. Even i'm still here but seriously i miss all the sweets and sours that i've been through since the first day i stood my feet on Uniten soil. Before coming Uniten before pursuing my degree, i felt like i didnt want to study, 4 years seen to be too long but now its different, i wish i could go back to time when i just began my degree. Im old now. This year im going to be 23. I mean relatively old if i compare with my juniors. I wish i were 18 again.

Badminton or studies?

I'm in dilemma. Badminton is just a game & studies should be my priority. Today for the 1st time after 2 months, i went training with the others. I was told that if i dont come constantly every week, the captain will drop me from competitions. The next competition should be next month in UCSI and another one is in MMU Cyberjaya.
Its not that i dont want to come for training, its just that i'm too busy. The training is on Monday and i'm having quiz on every Tuesday. I definitely need to study! I've learned from the past, everytime i went out playing badminton i felt exhausted and slept right after.
You guys might suggest me to study earlier, maybe during the weekend. No, Hell no! i know myself very well. I couldnt..i just cant..Im busy with Tech Comm...RC...project management..Too busy to play badminton. I'm considering to stop playing competitively..maybe just for fun..but its a big loss..i'll only have one and half year before graduating..so what should i do?

Hi dear friends, i've been busy lately. I have no time to spend for my blog. Just a few updates, i'm currently in the middle of semester and semester break would be on 6th september. I just finished a few of my mid term tests but i had another one after raya which is Structure steel design.

This semester i suddnely studying pretty hard, i mean not really hard but harder than previous semesters. Why? Coz i suddenly realised that, in one year time i'ma be a civil engineer insyaallah but my knowledge about Civil engineering is too narrow. By this time i should be able to do structure analysis with one eye but unfortunately im still crawling. I cant imagine what would it be like, if i were in the real working environment. I am totally DOOM!

Another update is..i'm still in love with Sakinah...hahahas everyday i love her more...and she loves me too dats the most important..the rest...i dont give a damn

I am alone. Nobody's home. Everybody's going out to work. If i were in Notts at least Aisyah and Imran were next to me. Sigh..so bosan..suddenly my photography mood is turned off. Think i'ma need some inspiration. I think this year was the best i ever had in UK. I got the chance to see Imran 1st day at school. He was crying so badly, so did Aisyah bcos she saw Imran was crying. Sometimes at night i read them stories, playing puzzles, watching Tom& Jerry together. I simply love those two. My most memorable memory was fetching them from school everydays. I'll bring a stroller from home, when Imran saw me he was always like running to me. Or sometimes he's asleep while on the swing. Aisyah sometimes called me "Daddy,daddy,daddy" when she saw me coming. I dont know why maybe cos she saw her friends doing so. On the way home i will ask Aisyah to sing Twinke Twinkle Little Stars. After that i'ma sing Bob the builder for Imran together with Aisyah. Aisyah loves Iman so much. They always fight over something but when imran is not around Aisyah missess him. She's a good sister, everytime she saw Imrans crying she will quickly come to tell me that imran's crying. I'm feeling very sad to leave UK. These two wonderful kids really made my day everyday. Even when i been away to London for a few days i had already missing them so much. Im sure everyone is going to fall in love with these two. They are such a lovely sweet kids. Imran is soo manja. She slept with me almost every nights. I really wish they'r goin back at the end of this year. I'm dying to see them.

I had safely arrived in Malaysia today. Unlike last year, i didnt feel like going back. I wish i could stay with Aisyah and Imran. Aisyah nangis kat airport semalam. Die sedih takde uncle nak temankan die main, nak layan die. I really miss Nottingham. Tonight im gonna sleep alone without Imran. How sad..I miss Imran. Normally when i get bored i'll play with Iman and aisyah but here i am alone. I'm feeling sad knowing that i'm not gonna sending them to school anymore, cant see imran learns to talk,cannot play with them. Just pray that new sem will start soon so that i'll get myself busy.

Just a little update bout myself, i'm going back to Malaysia next week. My flight will be on 27th scheduled to arrive on 28th.

Suddenly i dont feel like going back, i'm sure i'm gonna miss everything here. I feel sad to leave Aisyah and Imran, especially Imran he sleeps with me almost every night. I'm gonna miss his noisy sounds while he's asleep. I'm gonna miss to walk them to school, i'm gonna miss Imran running to me when he see me coming to fetch him from school. On the way back home we all sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little stars" together.

Aisyah is a big girl now, a little princess. She's very smart. She sometimes play "Cat and Dog" with Imran. That is funny! Imran will follow her from behind...

London 11-13th June 10

I've been to London 3-4 times before this but this one was the best ever!
I met with my Uniten mates Mr Wui Jern Chew and Malcom Wee with another new friend studying in Soton, Mr ee How. We went to Trafalgar Square for World Cup 2010 opening, it was a coincidence actually. hehe

We stayed at Hyde Park Hostel which was located at Bayswater, Inverness Terrace. Trust me, that was the most horrible Hostel i've been at. The room was dirty, the bed and linen was brownish and on the 1st night, i didnt get a duvet. I was freezing to death!!

On the next day we went travelling all over London. The best part was, we went to London Bridge around 9pm. Spent our time around the bridge until 11.30. On the way back we'r all starving so we went to chicken cottage. Yum! yum! but! hehe there is but! once we get back to the tube station. The station was closed! the security told us to take bus no 27 to bayswater. Yeah thank god! we managed to get our bus. Only to find out at the end of the way, we'r heading towards a wrong direction! We took a 27 bus that going to the other direction. We waited at the wrong side of the bus stop. Hahahah

Ok we waited at Richmond bus station for about 20mins, we'll take our bus and safely reached Bayswater around 2am! we were all freaking tired! my legs were like soooo painful!

But it was worth it, i managed to capture some decent photos of Tower Bridge and Westminster Palace.

Lake District National Park, Summer 2010

Date: 5/6/2010, Saturday

I joined a trip organized by Nottingham Malaysian Society to Lake District National Park, Cumbria. Participants only need to pay 25pounds for the whole day trip. We departed at East Drive, Nottingham University around 8am by bus. The trip was introduced to me by Asyraf when i met him at Nottingham Demonstration againts Israel a day before the trip.

We ride steam train to Lake District and then we took Lake Cruise for sightseeing around the Lake. Lake district is the largest National Park in United Kingdom. The view was superb! i always wanted to go to Lake District, since i came to UK last year i heard the place from my lovely Sakinah, even just for a day the trip was fun, i enjoyed my time with everyone especially Asyraf and Akmal. We share something in common, we'r camera freak! LOL

We wrapped everything around 10 and went back to Nottingham Arrived around 1.30 in the morning. I was damn tired, safely reached home and then "Pengsan"!!

Thanks to NMS for such a wonderful trip to Lake District. I'll never forget this memorable moment i had. But i've already missed home, especially Sakinah.

York, simply beautiful

We just got back from York, a walled city, situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ouse and Foss in North Yorkshire, England. The city has a rich heritage and has provided the backdrop to major political events throughout much of its two millennia of existence.

We spent 2days 1 night, one the 1st day we arrived at 7pm. I went out alone exploring the city until midnight to do some night photography around the Historical city of York. Well, York wasnt dissapointing at all. I simply love it. The town wasnt crowded and the atmosphere was lovely. Of course late night you can find plenty of drunk people all over the town that is typical european night life. But the cops were all over the place so i wasnt worried too much bout that.

On the 2nd day we all went to Jorvik Centre. Its a place where you can find out more about the history of The Viking. Basically York known as Jorvik in Viking language was one of the Viking Invasion long ago. The place was pretty cool, some of you might find the place is quite boring but to me its good to know how those people live, who were they and why they invaded England.

Last year on this date, was the 1st time i met Sakinah at Glasgow, Scotland. Our 1st meeting was, at the airport. I was looking for her and she was looking for me. From a distance, Sakinah & Raihan were jumping and waving when they saw me. God knows how i felt at that time. The feeling was indescribable.

Bicester Village, Oxfordshire & City of bath

We just got back from 3 days trip to Oxford & Bath. 1st day we went to Oxford City. I heard people said there's nothing in Oxford compare to Cambridge. I am totally agree with them. So if you go to UK, forget Oxford, go to Cambridge instead.

Before going to Bath we dropped by at Stonehenge. The thing about Stonehenge is, its located about one hour++ from London. So if you'r travelling from London merely to see that bunch of freaking stone. I suggest you to just forget it. Unless you'r going to other places where Stonehenge is on the same way, drop by then. Make sure to bring your student card for discounts.

The historical city of Bath, if you go to UK. Visiting Bath is a must. Sometimes i wonder why when my friends come to UK, they wanna visit Manchester, Liverpool and so on. London is enough. The rest are almost the same. After all, they are all cities. Better go other places, with better landscapes and cityscapes. Like Bath, Isle of Skye or Inverness or Lake district or Snowdonia. These places are like heaven. You cant find it in Malaysia. I think people who visit London should take a bus and go to Bath, spend a night. Bath is awesome! The city was great!
Unfortunately we didnt have enough time to visit all the places in Bath. In fact, we just been to one place which is The Roman Bath. That's the only place we visited. What a loss. Someday im gonna visit Bath again, hopefully. For a "real trip" to Bath. hahaha i have a lot in mind. I wanted to see the royal crescent, prior park and the Pulteney bridge. Actually we did go to Pulteney Bridge but only for 5 mins. If there's next time, i would set up my tripod, and shoot a proper view of the bridge at night.

Spring is here

April 2010, its spring again. So i started to photograph some of the flowers around the the house garden. I'm not really into flowers or anything that related to macro photography, i prefer landscape and waterscape photography. That explains why most of the photos that i display in my flickr are landscape/waterscape instead of flowers and insects.
But somehow i did manage to capture a few decent photos..

I am back at Nottingham

I am back at Nottingham. My flight was exactly on the same date last year. But things are different now. My sister has moved near to Wollaton Hall. Now we are staying at Middleton Boulevard somewhere near Wollaton Hall. I have only been here for 2 days but i already miss home. Compare to last year i was kinda excited before coming here but this time i did not. In fact i was kinda sad of leaving Malaysia, obviously because Sakinah is in Malaysia right now. I even told her than i'm coming here to find a girl friend. Hahaha I like making her jealous. I dont know why, perhaps because that shows how she loves me. She's planning of going back to Glasgow on June because her first solo exhibition is coming up. And guess what? She's planning to display my portrait painting :) but not for sale because that painting supposed to be my birthday present but she didnt finish it on time. Sakinah is a lazy painter :) hehehe but she gave me a lot more valuable presents. Those are priceless.

Final exams with 3 papers left

Its 6 in the morning, i just closed Structure Analysis book. I have 3 papers left, Structure analysis 2, soil and waste water & water. My programming paper, i cant tell how was it. The Section A and B was ok, B was easier than C. But i screwed up Section C. I think most of us screwed up that section.

I've tried to sleep but i just cant. I'm worried too much every time i closed my eyes, i kept thinking bout exams. Not Structure Analysis but Waste Water. I dont know how to score. The lecturer hates us. She didnt give any tips. Senior said she gave them tips for previous sems but not to us. Because she once warned the whole class coz ppl were talking while she was teaching and asked us to address her with her title doctor instead of Puan or madam. Im so scared. But 1 good thing bout being scared is, it makes me study harder! Sigh im so tired...okay dah subuh..i better solat now...

Aku ada cerita nak kongsi sikit pasal layanan mengikut status ni..
Pada suatu petang ni, aku dari Banting nak pulang ke Kajang. Lalu aku singgah la kat Shell berhadapan restoran Nasi Lemak Pakmie...restoran nasi lemak ye bukannye restoran nasi "Lemak Pakmie", sape nak makan lemak die. hehe ok berbalik kpd cerite, setibenye aku kat Shell tu aku pun stop kat Pump minyak yg ada pump attendant sbbnye aku malas nak isi sendiri. Mamat tu pun tunggulah aku membuat pembayaran kat kaunter, right after aku membuat pembayaran tu datanglah satu Pakcik ni bawak BMW 5 series berhenti kat pump minyak bersebelahan kereta aku. Dan mamat pump attendant tu dgn pantas pegi ke pam sebelah memberi layanan mesra kpd Pakcik tu, dan kemudian isikan minyak kereta beliau. tanpa menghiraukan aku yg juga customer membawa kereta kancil memakai selipar dan seluar 3 quarter. Memang cam haram..tp tak boleh nak salahkan sesiapa..kalau aku tauke station minyak pun aku akan mengarahkan pekerja aku berbuat yg same for the sake of profit.

Hahahaha Funny isnt it? I find the situation is really really funny. Imagine when someone mencuba utk sakitkan hati kau. perli sane,perli sini, sindir sane,sindir sini, mencuba sedaye upaya utk menyakitkan hati kau, but still you have no clue at all. For me, it’s really sad they can’t even simplest thing & hurt Malaysian people really bad…

After many decade we Malay Muslim had sacrifice a lot for the others Malaysian (neither race or religion) in the name of unity but right now when it relate to ‘Aqidah’ & purity of Islam religion it’s really too much….

I don’t want our past mistake happen again & again…..

Redstar Belgrade

I'm not so into football coz i concentrate more in Badminton. But i'm currently taking part in Uniten Cup. The team name is Redstar Belgrade prefer to be called Bintang Merah. My position is Left Winger. I'm not so good in football actually but i just have the basic and the experience of playing as a team. When i was in standard 5 i joined the school team SK Sri langat my position was right winger and i was in the starting line-up. My elder bro playing along side me as a striker. I provided all the passing and he provided the goals. I remember in the final match, from the right wing side i crossed a long ball to him and he finished it with a header. And that goal made us the champions of Kuala Langat that year, 1999.

Now in 2009, after a decade i get back my old position. A winger! Its my preferred position bcos i can run pretty fast and dribble quite well. But i doubt about my passing and crossing ability, and my stamina is not up to a level that a football player should have. So far after two matches i've already scored one goal and one assist. And suprisingly, i scored in my Uniten Cup debut. Hehehe This thursday Redstar are going to play against Orlando pirates, if we win we through to the knock-out stage but if we lose, Good bye Uniten Cup. Wish me Luck!

Back in 1995, when SAF replaced the whole United team with kids. In the 1st Premier League match, United lost to Aston Villa 3-1. Alan Hansen criticised SAF " You'll never win anything with kids". However the young lads won all the next 5 matches and became the premier league champions that season. Among those kids were Neville brothers, Beckham, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Giggs.

Now on 2009, the same thing happened, United already through to the Champions League knock-out stage and SAF let the kids to play against Besiktas. The kids failed to make an impact and lost 1-0. The media claimed that these kids have no future. But last night on Carling Cup match, once again SAF proved that his kids are prodigy. They managed to beat Spurs 2-0 and the goals came from of all people, Darron Gibson. The only Man United midfielder who can strike out of penalty box after scholes.

In the future, United are going to be very strong. Beware!

As i expected, Liverpool is already kicked out of Champions League run. Rafa will surely get sacked and Torres will leave Liverpool. Haha i'm so happy. Now the Liverpool fans will have to admit that they are nowhere near Man United. Man United are always bounce back. They are come back king. They will have to admit that United have the better foundation. The kids are strong, the first team are strong, the manager is a genius, the financial is stable and they have loads of loyal players who wouldnt leave the team for ages. I cant wait until March to see United thrashed Liverpool at Old Trafford next year. There's nothing left at Liverpool. All i want is for them to bow to the champions. MASISWA Games 2009

MASISWA games is over. This year Uniten were crowned as MASISWA Champions. But we, the Uniten Badminton team only managed to win 2nd place. We lost to UTAR in the final. They have the advantage from their womens single and doubles. Since my first time joining the Uniten team, we have no good female players. We only need one girl, to steal at least a point in women's single and dont worry, the guys will settle the rest because we have pretty strong mens single and doubles. As i promised, i'm retiring after this competition. MASISWA was my last badminton competition. So, goodbye Uniten team.

Fantastic United suffer defeat at Stamford Bridge

If you were a Chelsea fan, you could've expected a better performance from Chelsea at Stamford bridge. I always thought that Essien is better than "Xavi" from Barcelona, but it was clear that United's midfield Carrick and Fletcher executed Essien and Lampard to perfection. 1-0 is not a bad result for United. It was a 50-50 game and you knew it, United created better chances. Unfortunately Chelsea win a "cheap free kick" and Brown and Evans couldnt stopped Terry from scoring. But Evans is still young and Brown has been sidelined for quite some time. They did very well. Nobody could expect that United could play this good at Stamford Bridge. But they did. It would be more interesting if they win but a win is a win and Chelsea deserved the 3 points. I dont know how to describe this game but it was almost a perfect game for United if they have won it. Look at Fletcher, Carrick, Rooney, Brown and Evans. Look properly how did they play tonight. Look at how they Shut drogba and Lampard down. Look at how the Chelsea fans reacted when Obertan fancied Ivanovic. Look at how Evra beat Ashley Cole everytime he ran down the wing side. Look at how Fletcher beat Essien. I didnt expect United can play that well but it is frustrating when your team play well but end up losing. Yes i know, United arent as strong as last season. But United is always the best in England and everyone knows it.

After 4 consecutive lost, they overcomed United at Anfield with 2-0 win. But what happen after that? They lost 2 games in a row. A disgraceful lost at Fulham. As i expected, Liverpool is the most threaten club among big four now plus Rafa's career at Anfield is now in doubt. During the game at Craven Cottage against Fulham he substituted Torres and Benayoun and the manager was "boo" by his own supporters and you can say that its about time he leaves Liverpool. This wednesday they will face Lyon at Olympique Lyonnes without Torres who is out for 2 months due to injury and possibly without the captain Gerrard. Their position is at stake, if they lose to Lyon and at the same time Fiorentina beat Debrecen, that means Liverpool's Champions League Campaign is over!

I can confidently say that Liverpool's title race for BPL is already over because they've lost 5 games so far, and they've blown away their Carling Cup when they lost to Arsenal and they are about to walk out of Champions League Campaign. The only cup that left is FA Cup. Will they win any? Will wait and see. Liverpool will finally walk alone without trophy. Hahahahaha

Micheal Owen progress

The United no7 has limited time to play for United so far. But today he has scored his 3rd goal for United. Micheal Owen is a fantastic player. You can say that he is actually better than Berbatov. He just need more time to settle in. Since his signing as United player, he has only played for 118mins yet he has scored 2 goals for United. Yes, 2 goals maybe are not much but compare to the Boss first choice, Dimitar Berbatov who has already played for 516mins but only has 3 goals so far of the season. Tonight Micheal Owen score his 3rd goal of his United career in the Carling Cup and if that goal to be counted, he has score goals as much as Berbatov did this season so far which is the total of 3 goals.

Just look at how he gave impact to the match against Liverpool on last Sunday. He came on as a sub in the last min but look at how he changed the game. His running caused a lot of troubles to Liverpool defense. The way he controlled the ball and then set up for Valencia, it could've been an equaliser unfortunately the cross bar saved Liverpool. And today against Barnsley, he was terrific! He was very much involved in every attacks. He beats 3 Barnsley defenders before scoring his 3rd goal for united. Congrats Owen!

The great Manchester United, after 11 unbeaten games finally they to Liverpool and that is for the 3rd times in a row. From the start of the season, United started very slow especially with the 30 mil striker Berbatov not up to expectation and the absence of Ronaldo has given a very big impact to the team. On the attacking side United are relying too much on Rooney whereby on the wing side they relying on "The Welshman Ryan Giggs". Ya, i agree with the critics that United find it very hard to score goals since the depart of Ronaldo. That is very true but one thing you have to remember, who was Ronaldo before he was brought to ManU at the age of 17. Remember who discovered him and lead him to what he is now? Its Manchester United. So don't worry about what happen next, because we know all the youngsters that SAF has brought into the team now, will be the next future stars that worth millions. Obertan, Ljajic, Fabio, rafael ,macheda ,tosic ,Welbeck, these unknown kids are the one who will replace the likes of Giggs, Ronaldo, Scholes, Neville, Ferdinand and just to name a few. United are still in good condition, the result shows everything. 11 unbeaten games before lost to liverpool who have already lost 4 games. We might not win the league this season, Chelsea are looking very strong with the players they have. But more seasons to come. Dont worry, new stars will be born.

Liverpool did well at Anfield, United were Vulnerable without Fletcher and Ji Sung Park. These two men will give big impact in defensive and attacking. The men who not knowing the meaning of stop running until the game is over. Let see what changes that they could bring when they come back. Hargreaves is about to return to the 1st team. I suppose he is the one who gonna take the set-piece responsibility. His free kick is awesome!

I don't know what would happen to Liverpool, with the 30 mils offer from Real Madrid for Gerrard (we all know Real Madrid are always get their man ), and the speculation of Torres to leave the club. The unstable position of Rafa Benitez, and Youth? Do they have any? hahaha all craps. They should start thinking to build up their youth system just like United and Arsenal. What would happen to them next? I have a feeling that this season, the big four will change and their side are the most vulnerable one ( lost 4 games already).

All i want to do is wait until the end of the season. Look who's on top and who's leaving the big four.

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old son waiting for him at the door.

"Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, sure, what is it?" replied the man.

"Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?"

"That's none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.

"I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy.

"If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour."

"Oh, " the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, "Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?"

The father was furious. "If the only reason you want to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you're being so selfish. I work long, hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish games."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy's questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money. After an hour or so , the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. May be there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. "Are you asleep son?" he asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man. "It's been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here's that $10.00 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, beaming. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.

"Why did you want more money if you already had some?" the father grumbled.

"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied. "Daddy, I have $20.00 now... Can I buy an hour of your time?"

I love that you keep complaining "panasnye..panasnye.." when it is 34 degrees out. I love that you make me wait for you 30 minutes at Masjid Putrajaya eventhough the distance is too short when you can even see it from where you were staying. I love the way you drive my car eventhough you don't even know how to change to 2nd gear. I love that you don't say sorry when you make me wait for so long on the train. I love that you get a little crease on your face when you smile at me. I love that after i spend day with you, i can still smell your perfume on my clothes.
I love that you make me wait for half an hour at KTM station and then asked me to go to a different station. I love that you make me stuck on traffic more than half an hour to pick you up, i love that you make me lost my part time job so that i can spend my last moment with you, i love that you didnt cry when you left today , its not because you didnt feel sad, you just dont want me to feel sad, and i love that you are the last person i wanna talk to before i sleep at night. Its not because i'm lonely, it just that when you realize you wanna spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start every second. I just hope after you'r gone today, this won't be the last time i see you.

Kick racism out

Our country has just celebrated its 52nd of independence day two days ago. For 52 years we live in peace and harmony with multi racial and cultural, but still after 52 years we cannot dispute the existence of racism in Malaysia.

Recently, i've been looking for a part time job through the websites such as promoter, cashier, draftman, freelance and so on. As i search for the job, i noticed one funny thing. That it is normal to see advertisements with " Chinese prefered/Chinese only" stated clearly in the attachment.

Apart from that, i once went to The Mines shopping mall and when i passed by a store, i read an advertisement written "Vacancy, Chinese only".
Luckily this is Malaysia because if we live in UK, this kind of advertisement is illegal and the company who done this can be sued.

If you go to goverment office, you'll see most of the employees and staffs are Malays. If you go to shopping mall, you'll see the place is dominated by Chinese and if you go to Astro or Maxis you'll find most of them are Indians.

I'm not trying to criticise anyone or being racist here but my point is how long we are going to live like this? Lets work together and kick Racism out of this country. You can start it from your neighbourhood and for students, start with your housemates :)

I had listened to several people who asked me why did you buy Sony alpha instead of Nikon or Canon? Yes, Sony is new in this industry, if not mistaken their first model of Digital SLR was Sony a100 released in early 2006. Basically, Sony alpha utilizes and expands upon Konica Minolta camera technologies. That explains why Minolta lenses fit with Sony alpha. If you compare Sony alpha with Canon or Nikon in terms of specifications, of course Sony alpha is the lowest rank among these three but in terms of the picture quality there's not much difference but depends on your skills. Previously, customers were afraid of buying Sony alpha products because Sony might not be able to compete with other companies such as Nikon and Canon that have been involved in this industry for ages, in the end they might leave this industry just like that and what happen next? No more accessories and lenses will be produced for Sony alpha. That is so worrying. But as time goes by, Sony never seemed to abandon this field. They'r getting better in time with few more Sony alpha cameras being introduced. They'r looking more and more serious to compete in this industry.

In Malaysia, if you search through websites such as Lelong.com or Mudah.com you can easily find items that compatible with Sony Alpha especially lens. You can find lots of lenses, brand new or used, they are all in cheap prices. Most of Sony alpha compatible with Sigma, Tamron and Minolta lenses. Therefore, if you can't afford to buy Sony G or Carl Zeiss lens you can go for Sigma lens and so on. As i can see, it is much easier to find 2nd hand or used lens for Sony than Canon in Malaysia. (Different case if you'r staying in Europe of course Canon is very much popular) In addition, lenses for Sony are much cheaper than others because Sony alpha cameras are designed with built-in image stabilizer which means you don't have to buy lenses with image stabilizer where the prices are much more costly.

In general, you can say that Sony alpha is a "budget DSLR" with high quality of images and functions. It has everything you can expect from a DSLR. After all, it your skills and creativity that is more important.

Tak faham? hehe okay, the first disaster waktu nak check-in kat LCCT, aku bersama group ni boleh la bantai makan KFC smpi 9.05 am, sedangkan departure time kul 9.45am. Tak tau lak yg kaunter close 45mins before departure. Ape yg terjadi? Lepas makan tu tgk kat sign board counter closed. Haha semua lintang pukang lari. Sampai kat kaunter officer tu ckp kaunter closed already. Memandangkan die tgk kitorg ramai diepun tolong la check-in kan. Nasib baik sempat.. :) Awal betul die tutup kaunter padahal domestic flight je,aku masih igt wktu kat Glasgow nak balik ke Notts, aku 1/2 jam from departure time baru reach airport, tapi masih sempat je. Siap tunggu dlm 10min lg kat gate. Unfortunately, Saiful didnt make it. Die kene tinggal flight dan terpakse beli tiket kul 12.30. Kesian beliau :)

Okay, bila sampai Kuching Wui Jern fetch kitorg bersama dua hot chicks...ehem..ehem..dua hot chicks tu pulak jd tour guide kitorg..makin menarik la trip ke Sarawak ni. Mula-mula nak stay kat hotel but then ade orang offer kitorang stay kat Semi-D dgn harga RM150 satu malam (Ditanggung beres oleh Uniten).

Waktu malam plak kitorang start match Uniten vs Swinburne Uni..keputusan Uniten menang 3-2. Disebabkan aku demam,aku berkeputusan untuk tidak bermain pd malam tu tp bila double yg menggantikan aku tu kalah aku pun terpaksa la main sebagai 2nd double sbb kalau kalah lg overall Uniten kalah ler. Malang gile dengan keadaan demam aku bermain, walaupun menang tp lepas match terus terbaring kat tepi. Suddenly suhu badan naik mendadak. Wuuu kesian aku..waktu tu betul-betul rase nak balik sini, siap dah bincang dgn captain lagi. Lepas jumpa doctor, die bagi injection eso0k paginye rase semakin pulih. Tapi the next game aku tak main sbb risau kejadian semalam berulang semula. But still Uniten menang 3-2 keatas Kenyalang Club.

The next day kitorang bercuti kat Damai Beach (kalau tak silap wktu aku darjah 4 penah pegi cni) Kitorg melawat Cultural village dan sebagainya.
In conclusion, Sarawak mmg best :) Nice one!

Pejam celik dah masuk sem ke-4. Ada khabar angin mengatakan budak-budak rumah aku semua nak berubah, kononnye dah tak nak main game & nak mula belajar dari awal. Boleh percaye ke ni? Hurm.. Tan aku percaya memang takkan berubah lah. Dia awal-awal dah cakap sem ni jadual tak pack sebab tu kene main game unlike sem-sem lepas yg pack gile. Dia ape peduli, wlupun main game 24 jam tapi pointer tetap 3.4++. How bout Ezad, Azri & Jen? And how about me? Aku berhasrat nak beli net-book dgn niat takde lah aku ber'counter strike' lagi lepas ni. Boleh percaye ke? Silap-silap aku duk pinjam desktop Azri melayan FIFA lagi-lagi Azri dah jadi room mate aku sem ni. haha WEH! FIFA 2010 tak lama lagi nak kuar!!

Setelah dikenal pasti killer subject aku sem ni ialah Structure Analysis. Waa ngeri!
Dah la lecturer kitorang Mr Sivakumar aka Yamang yg kalau boleh tak nak sesiapa dapat A dlm kelas dia. Percaye tak percaye quiz die waktu sem 2 dulu lebih susah daripada soalan final. Tapi sebenarnya dia bagus, sentiasa mengingatkan students supaya refresh semula knowledge dalam subject Statics & Mechanics Materials supaya tak merangkak dalam Structure Analysis. Satu lagi subject yg aku takut ialah Enviromental. Subject ni mesti byk nak kene hafal, aku paling benci bab-bab menghafal ni. Aku lebih rela membuat calculation sepanjang 2-3 muka surat dpd menghafal terma-terma yang sememangnya panjang lebar dan biasenye aku tak faham pun ape yg aku hafal. Hahaha Maka aku nak menggunakan strategi sem lepas iaitu membodek lecturer! yeah! Jiayou!

Only 2 days left and then i'm going back to Malaysia. My flight is on Saturday, 6.10 pm. Time flies, its nearly 3 months already. I love UK, but i love Malaysia more. That's where i belong. I'm looking forward to see my mother and friends. Breakfast at mamak, milo panas and nasi lemak. Badminton training at Serdang, battling Fifa with housemates, wake up at 8 for classes, arguing with Tan over little things, football in the evening, go to sate kajang at 2 in the morning, lunch at upten, sleeping together with friends in the living room, pasar malam on Sunday, doing revision with classmates, conteng meja during classes, movie and karaoke on weekend. I miss these things. Yup, surely i'm gonna miss Nottingham especially Aisyah & Imran. I love them and i know they love me too. University will be opened on Monday, shit! i think i'ma need to rest for few days. I'm planning to skip the first week, minggu pertama aje maa,mane ade ape sangat. Paling-paling pun intro untuk course outline aje. Oh shit! I forgot! tak beli souvenirs tuk Dr Rahayu, dia bagi aku A geology tu. haha nak rasuah die lagi ni, silap-silap dia amik aku masuk research team die. :p hehehe

Suicide attempt at Alton Towers

Alton Towers ni is one of the most famous theme park kat UK. Kalau nak compare Alton Towers dengan Genting Higlands tu bagaikan Terengganu dengan Selangor la..haha (Maafkan sy org Ganu, jgn mara). Ini kali pertama aku masuk Alton Towers begitu juga dgn Sakinah & Abg Anas tp Raihan dah penah pegi sekali. Antara kami bertiga Raihan la yg paling excited sekali (Baru nampak signboard Alton Towers kat Stoke dah mcm nak melompat..hehe tak pe Raihan comel cam teletubbies :p). Okay, kami sampai kat Alton Towers dlm kul 10 pagi & terus main SpinballWhizzer. Menakutkan!! Menakutkan!! Menakutkan!! Walaupun Spinball Whizzer ni tak termasuk dlm thrill rides tp aku rase beliau adalah antara ride yg paling thrill. Total semua ada 8 thrill rides which are Air, The blade, Enterprise, Nemesis, Oblivion, Rita- Queen of speed, Ripsaw and lastly Submission. Kitorang dapat naik semua thrill rides ni walaupun aku secara jujurnya takut sehingga nak termuntah, tapi aku beranikan diri sebab alang-alang dah sampaikan..hehe Antara semua ride ni aku paling takut "Submission" sebab die pusing 360 and then pause upside down kat atas. I'm afraid of height so mmg menyesal gile lah wktu tergantung kat atas tu. Berbanding thrill rides yg lain wlupun lebih menakutkan tapi sebab semua in motion so tak berderau sgt jantung aku. Sebab aku dah biase merempit so tak heran sgt dengan speed la. hahaha Another one yg aku tak tahan "Enterprise". Dia mcm wheel dan kitorg dikurung dlm cage. Bila bende tu pusing aku rase cam nak terbang je sbb Abg Anas tak pegang aku, dah la tak de safety belt. Aku bayangkan kalau pintu cage tu terbuka silap-silap terbang balik M'sia aku. Setelah kepeningan sehingga terbaring atas rumput, dlm kul 5 kitorang pun blah. Last2 minute boleh plak terpikir nak dtg lagi esoknye, so kami pun beli la tiket untuk sehari lagi (dapat discount mah). Pada hari ke-2 kitorg habiskan la ride yg tak sempat naik dan siap boleh naik thrill rides berulang-ulang kali..hehe aku sarankan kalau nak pegi Alton Towers pastikan wktu tu weekdays, bukan school holidays & make sure pilih hari yg akan hujan. So tak yah beratur panjang sangat....

In conclusion, Alton towers memang best! So sape2 nak dtg UK singgah la ke Alton Towers, jgn lupe beli ticket kat Ebay..hohohoh

Location: Snowdonia,Wales

Snowdonia is located at North of Wales about 2-3 hours from Notts by car. Kat sini kami stay kat Travelodge selama 2 malam.
Kami pergi mendaki Snowdonia dgn menaiki train. Tak larat la nak mendaki lagi-lagi ade Aisyah dgn imran. Kami naik Vintage train yg masih menggunakan enjin Stim. Lepas tu kami melawat kwsn sekitar Caenorfon. Ada sebuah istana kat sini tapi kami tak masuk pun,sekadar ambil gmbr dari luar. Then pegi pulak melawat pantai kat Conwy. Sejuknye kat sini sebab angin kuat. Sekejap je duduk luar pastu aku nyorok dalam kereta balik. Malas nak sambung la, tgk gmbr bawah ni je la.

Memandangkan aku begitu 'free' jadi aku nak buat review sikit pasal trip aku ke Scotland wlupun aku malas sbnrnye nak type.

29th may, pertama kali jumpa orang yg aku tak pernah jumpa. Nervous jugak sebenarnye. Nasib baik aku ni sentiasa peramah. Mcm Tan ckp "Ko ni dgn orang yg tak kenal pun kau mcm dah lama kenal". Nak recall balik kemane aku pegi 1st day, ermm Celtic Park, Glasgow Uni, Kelvingrove Gallery & Kelvingrove Park. Waktu ni aku ditemani Abang Anaz, kesian dia kene bawa aku jalan seharian sampai penat. (Aku pun penat) In the end kami sama-sama pegi berjemur kat kelvingrove Park bersama 'hot chicks'.haha
Malamnya pulak, aku tolong mak cik memotong-motong rumput,eh bukan rumput tp sayur-sayuran sebab the next day ade event kat Malaysian Fair. Walaupun aku tak pernah buat kerje-kerje memotong sayur ni (potong orang penah la), tapi aku blaja jugak & i think its fun :).

30th may, Aku tolong mem'promo' Kaya & karipap kat gerai Perantau owned by family Pak Cik Omar at Malaysian Fair.

31st may, bertolak ke Isle of Skye. Located at North of Scotland supposedly it takes around 4 hours driving from Glasgow tapi disebabkan byk sgt berhenti untuk bergambar, dekat 8 jam jugak baru kami sampai. Crew yang mengikuti ialah Abg Anas, Zaim & Sakinah. Sampai kat Skye around kul 12am, mslh timbul bila kami tak dibenarkan untuk check in ke hostel sbb dah melebihi wktu check in. Hampeh! at last kami tido kat hostel lain. Isle of skye memang cantik. So aku promo sape2 nak ke Scotland, Isle of Skye is a must place to visit at least once before you die.

1st June, pusing-pusing sekitar Isle of Skye.

2nd June, Masih di Skye. Sambung jalan habiskan tawaf semua tempat kat Skye tu. Dalam pukul 3 atau 4 petang tu kami bertolak balik ke Glasgow. On the way balik timbul pulak mslg lain iaitu jalan ditutup. Jadi kami melencong ikut jalan lain. Alhamdulillah, selamat tiba kat Glasgow pukul 4 pagi. Sampai rumah terus pengsan.

3rd June, tido punye tido. Pukul 12 tghari baru lah bangun. Then pegi city beli souvenirs. Pas2 pegi lepaking kat umah Zaim kat Strachlyde and bermain-main dihadapan Cathedral. Kemudian pegi main kat Glasgow Uni. Setelah penat bergmbr sambil melompat-lompat, kami bergerak pulak ke Kelvingrove Park smbil makan Pizza yg dibelanja oleh Raihan aka Ryan.

4th June, aku dah nak balik pun. Flight kul 9 malam. Before going back, pukul 10 pagi tu kami pegi Edinburgh pulak dgn Train. Honestly, mati-mati aku igt Glasgow Ibu negeri Scotland, rupenye Edinburgh. hehe aku bab2 Geografi ni mmg fail. Tu la.. waktu cikgu ajar dulu aku pegi mengorat dak Junior. haha Setelah letih kami menapak kat bandar Edinburgh, kamipun bertolak balik ke Glasgow. Tak leh lama2 sgt, risau aku terlepas flight pulak.

In conclusion, Scotland best! Indescribable experience :)
