Cerita yg membuatku terasa

Nails in the fence

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him
a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must
hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had
driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned
to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually
dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to
drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He
told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out
one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father
that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led
him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the
holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say
things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put
a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you
say I'm sorry, the wound is still there."
A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Friends are very rare
jewels, indeed! They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They
lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open
their hearts to us."

I just noticed that

Mama and abah are getting older. I just noticed that recently. If you live in a same house with you mummy and daddy you might not realize it. But as i looked at this photo just now, i can see the difference. Mama and Abah probably are turning 60++ (correction 50++) this year. Mama is looking more like a grandma and abah is becoming more like a grandpa. But something that never changed is mama still looking pretty no matter what and abah is still handsome.

Full Marks for Civil Rules group!

This is our rebuild super duper catapult. 3 hours needed to finish it and the cost is around RM15. Our previous catapult was able to fire a tennis ball for 15 meters but after several trials, its breaking apart due to high tension of the elastic. This time we replaced the woods with thicker one for higher strength to resist the tension of the elastic. But still we sticked with the original plan and based on the concept of consecutive energy and projectile motion.

This catapult is able to fire a tennis ball approximately 25-30 meters with 1/3 degree of accuracy. Many thanks to Jen and Azri for staying up with me, burning up the midnight oil to settle everything. Eventually our efforts are not in vain. Full marks for the longest distance and full marks for the accuracy, can't ask for more.

Mechanics dynamics : Catapult project

Finally after a few hours, we finished our catapult project. It looks ugly but don't judge by its looks. It can fires a tennis ball approximately around 15 meters away or maybe more. But since we do not have a tennis ball we simply used my hair wax. I hope at least to get 8 marks out of 10. The size is 12x12x12 inch. We use the concept of conservation energy and momentum is being considered as well. The main objective of this project is how far and how accurate, therefore we don't give a damn shit about the looks. This Catapult will be tested on this Tuesday. Semoga berjaya!

Group name : Civil Rules
Members : Syafiq scofield aka ashin aka aries, Chek Liang sama ,Jen aka Matt Jen Bellamy aka Jenab and finally our materials supplier Faiz aka Panjang or sometimes pendek.

Under construction

Chek Liang sama is pretending to help us. His duty is only to come up with a formula and report since he's a genius.

Weapons used to build up the catapult (Hp jen tu menyemak je)

70% finish

80% finish

90% finish

The final part is to set up the compass for accuracy. The theory is simple, we set up the angle of the pedal and we know how far the ball can goes. p/s : the indicator senget skit la..

Done! Who cares bout the looks. As long as it can fires the ball. 10 marks aje mah.Tak payah susah-susah sangat.

Thanks to Jen,Tan and tak lupe jugak Mr.Panjang walaupun hanya datang sekadar tunjuk muka.haha

This project is easy. The hardest part is to minimize the noise ketika drilling and kerja ketuk mengetuk dijalankan since kami tinggal di condo yg ramai mak cik2 dan pak cik2 yg kuat marah. Rumah ni dah 3 kali kene sound dgn jiran sbb bising. Sampai security pun datang sound. Bukan kami tak nak buat kerja waktu siang, siang kami pegi kelas malam je la free.

p/s : kepada group2 yg belum siap jgn curi idea kami ok. Terutama sekali Suvicha Kung Fu Cha yg secara terang-terangan mengaku nak curi idea. Haram jadah tol..

5 didakwa hina sultan

If you read todays Utusan 14/3/09 on the front page, 5 persons been arrested for insulting Sultan Perak. One of them is Nor hisham Osman who is my cousin.

I tried to access the website but it seems like the website has been deleted by the administrator. There must be something wrong with it. Why they removed it? Its curious! They must be something behind this.I believe the newspaper's just exaggerating to make it seems worse.
Nowadays ,even if you insulting U*NO they'll accuse you for insulting the Sultan. If you are a good Malaysian, don't always believe what you read. Dan sama2lah berdoa agar Abang Sham dilepaskan selepas perbicaraan on 14th April. Takbir!!

from utusan malaysia

Timbalan Pendakwa Raya, Faizah Mohd.

Selepas mendengar hujah kedua belah pihak, Hakim Balkis Aini Mohd.

Apart of Civil Engineering : Forensic Engineering

It is the investigation of materials, products, structures or components that fail or do not operate/function as intended, causing personal injury or damage to property. The consequences of failure are dealt with by the law of product liability. The subject is applied most commonly in civil law cases, although may be of use in criminal law cases. Generally the purpose of a forensic engineering investigation is to locate cause or causes of failure with a view to improve performance or life of a component, or to assist a court in determining the facts of an accident. It can also involve investigation of intellectual property claims, especially patents.

Afraid of you

Afraid of seeing you again
Afraid of hearing your voice again
Afraid of suddenly dreaming about you again
Afraid of hearing news of you again
Afraid of memories would suddenly roll again
Afraid of missing you again
Afraid of old promises that i can't afford to give

Where are you? Are you happy or sad? I suddenly miss you.
